I almost bought this a few years ago at a Borders, but for some reason I did not. I love AKUS. She has such a unique voice (I could see how it might irritate some). Favs? "Maybe" and their cover of "Baby, Now That I've Found You."
I'm going to do this just because you recommended it. I normally don't buy into something so easy but I trust your judgement. If you disappoint me, I'm sending Mai to your apt with a meat cleaver.
I just bought Allyson Kraus' "Forget About It." Very nice CD. My wife loves AK, so it's always a safe gift for her, but I have grown to really appreciate her as well. We'll have to get the live CD next.
